Which disc did you use? My 4-puck copper disc, sourced through MSS, but by Clutchnet, ground away my aluminum flywheel's friction surface in like 4 months of everyday driving. Those 4 pucks on the flywheel side were toast, right down to the metal finger. The 4 puck copper is quite grabby. I now have a 6 finger kevlar (I must be getting old, wanting longevity and driveability!) disc from SD. I discussed with Gary the possibility of using a 9" disc and pressure plate, but instead went with the regular 8.5" (as before). He mentioned that the 9" pressure plate is about 1 lbs heavier than the 8.5". FWIW...
