I've just replaced my standard discs with Black Diamond all round, front is drilled and slotted, rear drilled. I fitted Green Stuff pads also. First impressions were very good, rapid stopping power, but 1500 miles later they have gone very wooden and similar to the worn brakes I replaced. Black diamond recommend their Predator pads, but they would, but as I had already bought the Green Stuff I couldn't afford another £85 outlay.
I've just got a full set of Goodridge stainless steel brake hoses, so I'm hoping this will bring the brakes to a higher level.
Don't get me wrong, if I have to hit the brakes they work great but the pressure I have to apply seems to be too much. Maybe I'm getting hose bulging or something. Just changed 1 of the front for the MOT as that was bulging but the rest seemed okay.
