Never heard of Tarox. I'm assuming that these are not new so that can be ruled out. You have a 9-3 so the 94-96 brakes are even worse in stopping power.
I was up at the dealer today an noticed that the 9-5 brakes look much more beefy. If your looking for an upgrade to allow for bigger brake pads this may be a solution over the Brembo route.
Adding new brakes this weekend so I will post on the results. Adding the porterfield pads, supposly they increase stopping power anywhere from 50%-30% over OEM.
How much of a differance did you notice with your upgrade over the stock 9-3 brakes? I can compare the upgrade with my wifes stock 9-3 brakes to tell you if it is worth wild or not. I imagine that I could use a simular test to what you used.
Not sure if this is what you were looking for?
