So my current thinking is to remove the rev limiter (basically make it so the fuel pump doesn’t cut out at 6200rpm, there is no ignition cut) then add a second fuel system either a) 5th injector or b) 4 bigger injectors mid way down runners and program that to take up the slack of the 2.2. This way (I think) it will be totally streetable, pass smog, and get decent mpg. If I go with the 4 injectors I guess I'll have to sell the 2.1 manifold I tricked out and get another one to do from scratch.
I want the car to really haul ass, but I've waited too long and spent a fortune to get here, I'm going to take every possible precaution to make it reliable as a stock motor. If that means less power (like 300-400Hp isn’t enough) than so be it.
