new BMW 7 series?

Fantastic piece of machinery, a true artful piece of complexity. And yet, for all its 4.4 liters of varable cams and variable intake runner length, all it can muster is 333 hp, and 332 lb-ft of torque.

So tell me: Why would I buy that, for nearly twice the price of an Aero, with all that engine, but so little comparitive power? The 2.3 Viggen/Aero engine is certainly tunable to well beyond these numbers, and still capable of fantastic ecconomy. Its a wonder they do so well.

Marketing is a wonderful thing....
