I had the same problem
there are two plastic "pins" at the bottom of the board, the pins are the kind that expand once they enter their location-hence, holding two things togther (like your two boards), they are going up through both boards... probably about .5" long each, get a pair of needle nose pliers, compress the pins, and then gently try to pull the board up and over... you might need to (CAREFULLY CAREFULLY) tap on the top of them with a small chisel, etc to loosen them up.. if you slip and damage a board--- not good
its hard to explain.. but once you see it and figure it out.. it's easy!
enjoy the Red Box tweak! I did!
