Here's what I did to get cool air into the engine. I got rid of the stock airbox, moved the charcoal canister and it's bracket into that space. then I cut a U shaped hole opposite the AMM in the wall between the engine compartment and fender well. From an electrical contractor(Free) I got a piece of electrical conduit ("EMT") 3" in dia and about 7" long, a rubber fitting and clamps from a speed shop and a K&N filter that I already had ( #RU-2820) I moved the ignition module higher on the wall and the APC box into the engine area and moved the cruise control and upshift device out of the way, fitted the K&N onto the pipe with clamp and fitted the whole thing to the AMM. Seems to work OK so far. But if you look at Jouko's web page , that's where I got the idea. Now I'm trying to find the appropriate vent to get outside air int that area, I just don't want to get rain in there.
