HELP!! Tires, rims, offset, bolts- '94 Aero (long) >>

Hi all!
Here's the setup:
B+G lowering springs
Bilstein shocks
Poly bushings
17x7 offset 40 with 10mm (or other) hub-centric spacers (net ET30)
1. So I'm wondering... I know the 215/45 will fit without a problem, but I want to put as much rubber to the pavement as possible. Are there any problems with the 225 having seen the stats above, especially considering the lowering? I definitely don't want to deal with any rubbing, at full lock or otherwise, so if that's the case I'll stick with the 215s. I had considered the 225/40, but I think the sidewall is too small. I've done some searches on the boards, but can't seem to find the info I need. Can anyone offer their experiences with these sizes on a lowered Aero?
2. I'm having custom hub-centric spacers made, so I can specify any widh I want. Please suggest other sizes for these wheels if something would work better than 10mm (for net 30 offset), or if I should get different sizes for front and rear. If I'm going through the trouble of having these made, I want to have the wheels look and function as "correctly" as possible on the car.
3. And what size wheel bolts should I use? If I'm using spacers of x width, does that mean I'll need to get new wheel bolts that are (standard bolt length) + (spacer width)? What is the standard size anyway (LxW)?
Sorry for the long questions. I appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks
Will
