If you want to reference stock settings and be able to reset, just mark pot screw head slot positions with some white out or a scribe mark. To do accomplish your objective, you do not need to replace any resistors or rewire the box. A series of trial and error five minute adjustments will get you where you want to be. No one will ever know if you want to set it back to stock, it's only an APC box after all.
I would turn the "f" pot clockwise about 60 degrees and bump the "p" pot clockwise about 10 degrees. See how you like that. If not enough boost, turn "f" clockwise another 30 degrees(total 90 from stock) and bump "p" just a little more.
I am assuming you have set your base boost to 5.0-6.0 psi. If you have not set this yet, you are probably are only at 3.0-3.5 psi. Get a cheap boost gauge and hook it into an existing pressure/vacuum hose downstream of throttle butterfly with Tee fitting and 6 feet of hose to reach inot the cabin. Pull plug off APC solenoid to limit boost to base, and see what you've got. Turn in(shorten) wastegate adjusting rod about 2 turns per psi to get where you want. If it's real low, more turns may be required until you get in the 5.0 range.
