I would have also posted pictures of the AP Racing brakes with the new Momo 18" wheels, but I ran into two problems. The first was that the brake lines that came with the set from Nordic were about 4" to short. I could have worked around this using the existing line, but this was not the only problem. The real show stopper was that the new wheels and calipers contacted each other. So, this means that I need wheel spacers. I found that H&R makes a 5mm wheel spacer kit for Saab. Also, if I add the spacers, I will now need longer lug bolts (35mm). I tested the new wheels for fit with 1/4" spacers which had a larger diameter and the wheels did not look like they would scrap the bolts from the fender trim. In the end, I am still making progress, so stay tuned.
The Koni strut inserts were done by Dave at SPG9. You can do them yourself, but Dave had done a number of these already so I had him do these up right for me. The Koni's come with basic instructions if you want to try it yourself, but there seems to be alot of cutting and drilling involved. Also, Dave said that he had to machine the end of the Koni's to get them to seat right into the strut blanks.
