Hey all

I just got my Intrax lowering springs in the mail from SummitRacing about two days ago. They're getting installed this Wednesday in Damascus MD by Viking Automotive ("WASSAAB" aka Mike Heyse's brother Eric is co-owner of the shop). Can't wait!

On my way home tonight, I was hitting some backroads pretty tough, and caught myself thinking of some other suspension upgrades that I might be interested in having done. I'm definatly having an SAS or Addco rear sway bar with polyurethane bushings put on soon.

I passed the local stero shop and checked out the owners 87 Jetta completely done rally-style. Eight 4" or 5" Hella driving lights I believe. Absolutely slammed to the ground. I never noticed it before, but it's sporting a bright orange rollcage. To make a long story short...

Has anyone put in a rollbar/rollcage in their c900? Is there a noticable suspension gain?

I found a website which makes pre-made rollcages for about $250. If I would buy it, I would buy the "street" model.

I also know a master machinist pretty well. He has his own personal shop which has just about any tool you can imagine. I could probably have him custom make me one. Welded right behind the doors, and bent up around to the ceiling. Should still be enough room for a passenger to hop in the back.

Any insight is welcome!

Thanks!
I always enjoy your feedback,
Taylor
