No different in many respects from the NG900s.

If the filter is exposed to the hot air from the engine bay you will have a significant reduction of power in hot weather. You do have to make sure that the MAF is kept properly mounted... something that did not need to be dealt with with the T5s.

The newer production air boxes are much improved over the 94-99 units which were quite restrictive, which needed to be mod'ed for higher power. A K&N drop in will be a big improvement.

If the MAF is integrated into the air box mounting that will be a problem.

A cone filter can be mounted below where the current air box is. Look near the front of the air box and below. There used to be a nice size opening there. Some folks have done this. They have had make or find tubing to get down there, but with your config and the MAF the problem could be more challenging.

There is nothing made up that you can purchase.

So remember, cold air is your first design constraint.
