c900...on the dyno last week, this condition made itself noticable, hadn't noticed before. under hard acceleration (wot runs on dyno), the car would accelerate smoothly from 2000-3000 rpm. then from about 3000-3500 rpm, the car would shudder and vibrate. then above 3500rpm or so, it would accelerate smoothly all the way up to 7000 rpm.
here's the catch...fuel and timing maps are smooth with no large jumps between adjacent cell points; at least none that are any more than other areas of the map. boost map is smooth as well. also, air/fuel graph is smooth through that region. i hit full boost by this point (roughly 3000-3200rpm). and finally, hp and torque graphs show no oscillation in that rpm range. it's weird, it's a vibration that does not cause fluctuations in the power output to the wheels. it is quite appearant and annoying on the highway as well. as i accelerate on the highway, the vibrations begin and the shift lever shakes as well. transmission related? i had the inner drivers swapped last year when the new engine went in, but they didn't show any real signs of wear. any ideas or suggestions? thanks.
