Viggen in the snow - fantastic!

I flew in from the west coast last night, surprised we could even land at Boson/Logan airport in the blinding Nor'Easter snowstorm (coming from Canada though, those Air Canada pilots probably know snow better than anyone).
The drive home from the airport was pretty entertaining...lots of snowpack, over 6inches deep in spots, and of course, poor visibility.
Saab really knows what they are doing...headlight wipers, a phenomenal defrosting system, and outstanding traction (thanks to 4 snow tires too). My car is not traction control equipped, and yet the car performed like a champ. And actually, I don't really believe you need it, as long as you use common sense.
It once again proves that FWD, good snow tires, and good engineering make for a fantastic all weather car.
It's nights like this when I can ignore silly things like hatch or seat rattles, and appreciate the car for what it is. (And I plan to get those rattles addressed at the 10K service, anyway.)
