Well my annual sojourn to western North Dakota has arrived. I leave tomorrow for 7 days of mountain biking, clearing my head and driving as fast as the Aero will go. I have found some roads where I can comfortably drive the car to its limits, both top end and in the corners. These are roads where traffic is so minimal and the sight lines are so good that I do not worry about other cars. Lots of long straights, where in the past I have been able to bury the speedo, with the tach at redline. Then we get into the corners, with brand new tires, I can really throw that car around, lots of 4 wheel drifting and tires squealing, looking for traction. This is the time when all the driving courses pay off.
