Yeah, I can second the lookout for Scott Saab, they are a scam. When I first got my car, about a year ago from CarMax, I was able to put the car into reverse with out lifting that ring at the beneath the leather shifting handle.(reverse lock) They sent it to Scott Saab to be fixed, Scott Saab said that the entire transmission had to be replaced, I knew this was bullshit, the transmission was fine, but the car had almost 50k miles on it, a new trainy can't hurt right, CarMax had the bill, So I didn't say anything. After 6 weeks of driving a f@cking Ford Contour I got my 1996 Saab 900 SE back to find out that my 3rd gear grinds. It took me about 5 trips out there, and atleast 20 phone calls before they agreed to give me a new transmission, I took my car out there left it for a few days, got it back and sure enough 3rd gear still grinds, they never fixed it. Oh yeah, when they did the swap, there was a bold missing from the top side of the transmission, and you could tell where fluid had come out, they left wires hanging that got burnt by the exhaust manifold, and other screws were missing as well. I have been battling with them since March of last year trying to get it fixed. They finally admit that it still grinds but will not repair it since I did a ECU swap. The thing is they have me on record complaining about 3rd gear in April when I got my car back, and I have a ECU receipt that is dated from October. Unbelievable.. We should all contact Saab about the poor service we have been getting. I love my Saab more than anything but sick of the dealerships. I was gonna starg going to the Miami area to get work done hoping it was better. This is really Sad

Oh yeah, I tried the Saab store, I wanted them to install brand new rotors, and they wanted to charge me installation, plus a service fee to have them "turned". I was like "you wanna turn brand new rotors?" (I think it was 50 each by the way). They told me that you always turn rotors before you put them on, this was coming from a guy who had the teeth of a hockey player and hadn't showered in a week. So I left, haven't been back.
