First I want to apologize for the post on both boards but, didn't get any advice.
88 spg-150,000. In the morning, car starts and idles fine for 15 secs. Then it starts to oscilate down to almost 400 rpm and up to 1100rpm.I have to keep my foot on gas so it doesn't stall until I drive away where when I get to a stop light, it's fine. It will surge until fully warmed up when accelerating, it will then run fine from then on. The mods consist of. SD apc, forge valve, magnecore wires, silicone lines, large intercooler pipes and such. K&N filter, RRFPR and 24lb injectors. New o2, new temp sensor,ngk plugs, tps is adjusted, apc cleaned along with apc solinoid. Is this the dreaded amm? The reason why I ask is because i read that the amm is responsible for idleing until the o2 sensors warms up.I also read that a car will surge with a bad amm? The car will boost to 21 on a good day, droping off and surging from 16-20. I hate that kind of acceleration. Just want a nice smooth transition. amm is set at 226, but that's when engine is warm.
Any help would be great-I'm thinking of first swapping out the rrfpr with 2.8 bar. If that doesn't fix the cold idle, I guess I should get an amm???
