I live in Italy and yesterday I phoned to a guy selling four 16' rims and tires, he told me he just sold them to an american guy from Virginia. I think this guy is you.
He told me about selling me just the tires, because the rims were sold to you, and so i started searching some 16' rims. Today I wasn't sure if my '87 9000 T could put on /55 or /50, so I checked its card and I saw I can't put on 16' wheels! I know they would fit perfectly, but in my car's "circulation card" they are not mentioned and, for the italian law, it's unsafe to drive them and if the cops caught me they coud confiscate my car. I don't want to risk it, but it's a real shame.
Is there such a rigid law about this in US?

be confident with the seller, just tell me if he's trying to make you fool. I don't know him yet, but if an american saaber needs help I would be there. I have his number, I can convince him.
