I have B&G springs on a '00 9-3. Cheaper than Abbott by quite a bit and just as good. The front spring rates are about 30% higher than stock and the rears are maybe 20% higher. The springs lowered the car about 2.5 cm as expected. I also got Koni adjustable's put on at the time. I have them set 1 turn in from the softest (what Koni calls the sports/GT setting in the literature that came with them). Firm but not jarring. Virtually no roll on fast lane changes (that Saab tendancy for the back end to act like a pendulum is eliminated) and much better tire bite on cornering. Best of all, bumps in the road on a curve do not disturb the car form the line you have chosen. Important here in pothole infested Ontario.
Its a great combination when coupled with 215/50-ZR16 BFG G-Force tires. I have an old g-meter. On what I paced out with my stride to be about a 200 ft diameter circle, I'm pulling .92 g where I did 0.77 stock. And with far better control.
