after doing tons and tons of reading about bushings, i have decided that i am leaning towards replacing some of my bushings, but with rubber instead of poly due to 2slows comments about isotropic vs anisotropic bushings and how difficult it seems to find out exactly what you are buying if you buy bushing set 'x' from some supplier.

is there a good place to get rubber (perhaps OEM, perhaps not) bushings online? I plan to price stuff at local saab dealerships, but figure i might be able to get them cheaper online.


i definately want to replace the swaybar bushes, as they are visibly falling apart. is there an easy way for me to determine if my control arm bushings need to be replaced? I plan on getting new shocks, so i want need to change the lower shock busings, but will i need to change the uppers?

are there any other bushings that tend to fail after 100k+ miles?
