Have the 9lb version with no real side effects. RPM seem to need to be slightly higher if letting the clutch entirely out but it only took about a day to get used to. I've never stalled the engine as I assumed things would be. When I ordered, SD told me that they had done some R+D with a 3 lb carbon fiber version for race use. I wanted it but they confirmed that it would never work on a daily driver.
