Thought you might be interested in reading a conversation I had with Stratmosphere regarding the Forge Valves:
Hi,
I am interested in a diverter valve for a 1992 9000T. I am currently running
between 16-22 Psi. I use the Bosch 20 Psi valve now. The problem is with the
boost I run it often goes bad.
However, there have been a few people on The Saab Network bulletin board who
run the Forge. I have seen complaints of the valve sticking when cold, or in
the winter. Of the piston going bad within six months. I know you warranty
it for life but I don't want to have to repair it on a regular basis. I have
heard of a couple people who claim the original spring was too soft.
I am not bashing you product as I say I am interested and everyone said you
were very forth coming with replacement parts. I am merely interested on
your take on these complaints before I buy.

Thank you in advance,

Stephen

Well...you might want to consider the new valve we have developed. It's
called HyperBoost. We tried to address any issues we thought were a concern
with the Forge. If anything were to go bad, it would be the $.25 o-rings in
the valve. That's all. The pistons won't go bad. Cold stumble: could happen
for a small time, maybe 20 seconds until the valve warms up. I think the
HyperBoost is better about that. Nothing in the world is perfect, but we are
trying. Take a look:

Thanks for the e-mail.

-Pete, Stratmosphere

After a few more emails I decided to try it because he offered me free shipping to give it a try and let him know what I thought. As far as I am concerned that is excellent customer service
