Speed/density Jetronic ECU?

A couple weeks ago I was rumaging through a saab yard for DI parts and found a 9000cd so I grabbed the parts I needed and a fi ecu to use to compare to the 900 lh2.4.2. Interesting enough, I find on the web that the box number is listed as a LH 3.1. So a little further browsing in some volvo forums and I read of references that the lh3.1 in the volvo's are more speed/density controlled. The lh3.1 model volvo's have a film based AMM instead of a hot wire. From what I read, the film based unit reacts slower so Bosch switched the fuel map from Air Mass to throttle position. Can anyone tell me if the 9000cd/cs has a film based or hotwire based AMM? I didn't think to look at the time.
From reference, the 2.3 turbo uses LH2.4.2, but the 2.3 nonturbo uses Lh3.1 and they have different AMM part #'s. Oddly, I just noticed one source saying the 2.3 nonturbo AMM is the same as the 2.1L AMM. The 2.1l has a hot wire. That would mean the 2.3 turbo w/ LH2.4.2 use a different AMM from the 2.1 nonturbo w/ LH2.4.2. Anyone know the differences in AMM's?
Does anyone have any experience w/ LH3.1. I opened up the box and the chipset and circuit board is exactly the same as the LH2.4.2. So it must all be programming. I plugged it in on my LH2.4.2 900 and it worked. When I finish up WBO2 I'll have to plug it back in and compare fueling.
