Your clutch is not immortal. Be thankful that it can changed easier than many european cars.
To really scare him, buy a radar gun, and turn it on when he's getting up to top speed, and see how quickly his brake lights come on. He'd probably swerve all over the place getting down to speed.
In my state, Neon ground effects are illegal on the road because they are non-factory auxiliary lighting which is not permitted when driving. (Other types of auxiliary lighting would be deer-jacking spotlights, KC lights, and other things that are OK when not on the road, but not OK when driving)
