The TurboXS piston bypass valve for 1" 25MM hoses will fit the NG900s. The short coupling hose to the 2" aluminum pipes 1" hose barb needs to have 3/4" cut off (of the hose). The piston chamber points to the front of the vehicle, not towards the battery. So it does not mount in the stock configuration, and does not look anything like stock.
It is mounted in this configuration because thats the way that it was designed to be used. It could be mounted the other way around, there is ample room either way.
It works best with the piston face facing the pressure. Then when it starts opening, the dynamic forces of the air flowing towards and turning against the piston face will speed up the piston lift and opening. This will provide a faster pressure discharge, which is the whole point. This dynamic force is a separate force from the static pressure on the piston face. While under boost, the force on the piston face is balanced by the pressure in the spring chamber via the vacuum hose to the manifold.
