I've had Swedish Dynamics Magnecor 8mm spark plug wires on both my modded 89 900S (sold) and my modded 90 SPG.
Most people think after the 2 minutes of installation, removing the old ones, and popping in the new ones, you get in the car and expect to feel a boost like you just pressed a NOS activation button in a civic...
Well.. even though there isn't a noticable performance gain with the new ignition wires, I believe the engine does notice the difference. Just because you can't FEEL the difference doesn't mean it isn't helping your ignition system. I'm sure it helps deliver more spark at higher RPMs when, especially turbo cars, need that fuel to be burnt to keep the turbo spinning.
So no.. you won't get your head thrown in the back of your seat, but I do think it is a worth while investment if you plan on taking your car beyond stock performane levels. In fact, keeping in mind that I would surpass 200HP in my 90 SPG... Swedish Dynamic's K&N intake and Magnecor wires were in my SPG less than 2 hours after I owned the car.
Just my two cents.
