Actually, it is a '74. Christened 'Per' in deference to Saab rally driver Per Eklund.
I have more pix on my website, but there's something screwy with my ISP and it's been down for a while. I'm also constantly taking pix too (digital camera - woohoo!). Perhaps I should get a directory at Saabpix...
Uh, another note on the car. It is a '74 and still has the D-jet FI tank and lines, but I worked with the 'seller' to put it on carbs for me, so now it's on a single Stromberg 175. I say 'seller' because I basically traded my old go-kart to John Wirt in exchange for the car, and doing a bunch of work on it. Front upper shock mounts have been reinforced. Front lower control arms have been plated too. Custom stainless brake lines all around to work properly with the older fittings on the body and the -87 900 brakes. And pretty much rust free except for specks here and there on the body. Fun!
