Don't have time for detailed in depth analysis right now, do some searching first, I have written about this several times.
1) It has worked great for me.
2) Worth the price to me ($450). To you...depends.
3) I wasn't expecting any performance gains, and I felt I got a slight one,
so it exceeded my expectations.
4) HP/Torque - I'm doing some dyno runs next week, plan on one with the water on, one with it off, will post the results.
5) With the 1S, water doesn't come on until 10 psi (though you can adjust that up or down), so you don't really 'feel' much difference, IMHO. The added smoothness comes only from the fact that the APC isn't kicking the boost back as much due to detonation at higher boost levels. However, when I first installed the system, I distinctly recall feeling a nice 'kick' in acceleration once I hit 10 psi, which was separate and distinct from the normal steep boost rise curve. That has since vanished though, can't say exactly why, but the car is faster anyhow
6)I'd say it allows me to run a good 2-3 psi higher than I otherwise could run, stably, without the water injection. You can't exactly attribute the resulting torque and hp increnase to the Aquamist, but it certainly is the tool that allows you to make the boost adjustment which are responsible, and still keep it safe. I still get less boost as outdoor temps rise, just like everyone else... but I find there is considerably less variation in max boost than there was without the H2O injection.
