My wiring & mounting thoughts .... power source? more

Well...
Mounting wise... the zip ties sounds like a good idea! The intercooler gets warm, but I really doubt it's going to get warm enough to melt them. Besides, if the fan is working properly, the whole idea is to cool down the IC anyway! The zip ties would probably get tighter than the metal wire, probably look nicer too. Are you going to puncture the IC to get the zip ties through? Or are you weaving through the fins? Maybe I'm too cautious, but I just don't like the idea of stabbing my IC at all. I'll dig into mounting this Sunday.
Wiring... I was going to go to Pep Boys, buy a little toggle switch holder. It mounts nicely on the driverside of the center console with 2 screws. Look semi-stock, doesn't look cheesy. I had one in my 89 900S "white SPG", for one of my electrical accessories. Also, get a black toggle switch. I'll leave it on whenever I'm driving it. Just a nice peice of mind to know I can kill it if necessary.
I'm debating where a good place to get power is. I want to find a power source that is activated when the ignition is turned on, but no power when it's off.
Drop me an email -- what else do you have?
