Hey everyone... (90 SPG - LH 2.4 system)
I went to Viking Auto today to have my George's Imports AID put on my SPG. Eric set the timing to 20 degrees. The timing was all crazy before, so it was definatly in need of a timing tune up (my fault BTW.. Mike!). The AID definatly gives more off the line power. Contact Brad @ http://www.kcsaab.com for more info.
Currently I have...
30# fuel injectors
2.5 bar FPR (stock)
George's Imports AID
Timing set to 20 degrees
LH 2.4 system!!!
300 ohm resistor in AMM
plus plenty other stuff..
Idle is in limp home mode! Between 1400-2000 RPMs.
The AF guage reads just a LITTLE lean when the car is first started. Once it runs for about 20-30 seconds, it catches up, and reads one, sometimes two bars STOICH.
I disconnected the battery, let it sit for an hour. Reconnected. No luck. Repeated, same thing. Eric and I both tried to figure out the problem, no ideas either way. Maybe an AIC valve. I doubt it, because it idled fine just recently before the fuel upgrades.
What should I do?! I'm so stressed. I have these peeerty Super Aeros waiting to get slapped on a car with some serious issues ( ;
I have the Trent RRFPR... don't have a fuel gauge, until next week anyway. Maybe pop out the 30# injectors, take out the 300 ohm AMM resistor, and put the RRFPR back in? It ran just fine before with the RRFPR & stock injectors.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much!
Taylor
