ignition wire resistance

I currently have a set of the stock Bujicord ignition wires on my C900T. I also have a set of Jacobs performance wires from a previous C900n/a I owned. The Jacobs wires are longer than the stock and will take a bit of futzing around to get them to fit without laying across the exhaust manifold - is the reason I haven't installed them. Out of curiosity I did a resistance comparison check on both sets. The stock wire reading averages 1925 ohms (I'm guessing I have the multi-meter set to read correctly) and the Jacobs is 400. Clearly a lower level of resistance with the Jacobs. My question is - does that lowered resistance number really make a difference with anything measurable on my mostly stock turbo car? More powerful/complete fuel charge ignition? Better gas milage? Less wear on the cap and rotor points? Anything?
Appreciato amigos.
