First off, there is probably no real braking improvement with the '88+ hubs. The rotors are marginally larger, but probably not enough to produce any tangible results. The '88+ setup, however, can be adapted to use 9000 ABS calipers, which have substantially more piston surface area and probably would improve braking somewhat. Additionally, the later brakes have a *much* improved brake feel, and the sponginess that all -'87 brakes exhibit is removed. I run SS lines and tough pads and new calipers on my '86 900S, and they still don't have the feel that my '87 SPG had once converted.
Second, NA injectors are much smaller the turbo injectors. I don't know for sure about the 2.0l motors, but the 2.1l engines ran 19lb injectors, and the 2.0ls ran even smaller ones. A stock 900T runs a 21lb injectors. So, um, don't put NA injectors on a turbo. Get thee some Ford Motorsports or Accel or whomever 24# units with that 3.0bar FPR for a mild upgrade.
