Hi all,

I have an electronic boost controller on my 1999 9-3. I have also put a BSR Optiflow Air filter on and love the whooooshing noise I get with it. Everything is fine except the Blowoff valve Hoots at around 2000-2500 Revs. I have seen on this post that a New Blowoff valve (such as Forge) will do the trick, however I spoke to a turbo guy here in OZ who advised it my be the wategate that is not functioning correctly now that I have increased the boost. I am not sure what Boost I am running but I just go into the red zone on the gauge.

Can someone shed some light on this for me? - am I supposed to do something to the wastegate when increasing boost? will a higher pressure Blowoff valve do the trick?
