..on what you are prepared to lose in terms of creature comforts and practicality. I'd divide possible weight-saving measures in three groups: those that you can do without really compromising the car's appearance aneveryday usefulness, those that _do_ compromise these issues, and those that are only feasible for a track/autocross car which does not see any regular road use. Of course, it's a gliding scale, so I'll start off with some of the most obvious and easy things you van do - how further up the list, the more involved the item.
* Remove spare wheel and jack, replace with tire foam can (+/- 10 kg)
* On 4/5 door models, replace rear window lifter assemblies with manual cranks (4.36 kg)
* Replace full hood liner on 16v cars with smaller hood pad of earlier models (? kg)
* Lighten flywheel (in my case, 2 kgs)
* Remove foam/rubber soundproofing under carpet (over here, it's not there on base (carburetted) models anyway). Have to tear it out and weigh it yet, myself, possibly 15-20kgs here
* Replace carpeted wooden boot floor with lightweight material. Am thinking Aerolam myself ($$$ though). The narrow panel that lifts for spare wheel/tool access weighs over 4 kgs alone, so I bet there's close to 10 kgs for grabs here
* On 4/5 dr models, you can get away with installing front racing buckets whilst retaining access to rear seats. Stock c900 seats only weigh 14 kgs each, so going to a 'sport/comfort' type of seat won't net you much -if anything- in this respect.
* rip out AC (~20-30 kgs?) - not that a lot of c900's over here in Europe have it anyways...
* Start with a non-sunroof, non SPG car...
I'm sure can come up with more, later...
