Regarding flow testing: I was told that this was not as important as cc'each compression chamber and matching volume. You inject water into the chamber, weigh your plunger and you have the volume. Take the dremel to the chambers so that they all match. I used gauges to keep the carving on the intake and exhaust ports similiar. I am sure that you could run it into a shop and have them flow test it for you. I did not and I don't think it makes a big difference.
2.1 bulge; carve that sucker all the way down. This will lower your compression to the 8.5-8.7 ratio depending how much material you have taken off. If you leave the bulge you will be just under stock is my guess. I ran the numbers for both a stock gasket at .05 and my gasket at .07 and came up with 8.5 and my actual 8.1. The formula is at home and I don't remember but it involves stroke and volume, compression chamber volume, piston volume (13.4 cc's). Max Volume/Min. Volume. I can post later when I return from holiday. Lower compression allows for more boost with a minimal increase in lag. So basically you decide what you want.
I am running the stock cams.
