to determine if a mister is needed on the intercooler (or any other modifications), you can check the air temp just after the intercooler and water injection, if it is aproximently at the outside air temp there is no need to use a mister on the intercooler. I would imagin that the water injection and an intercooler is enough. The other item to look at is could you increase the air flow over the intercooler (a fan, less air flow restiction) which would help. Another option would be a charge cooler, which is an intercooler with a water jacket over the intercooler which has a pump that circluates the water to a radiator mounted up front. I have heard the charge cooler greatly out performs the intercooler, but they are fairly expencive. If you do a mister on the intercooler, you will need to find a way to 'trap' the water so it stays in contact with the intercooler long enough to work.
