I've heard that one is lucky if they get more than 5k miles from them.
I can't remember the exact 'µ' (friction coefficient) number for the 3000's - I think it's listed on their web site, but it's been a while since
I visited there. Like I mentioned earlier, I only installed them last
spring and didn't get a chance to put them to the true New England
cold! However, as far as 'normal' cold braking goes, I noticed no
difference from the stock pads. My seat of the pants view is that
they are the equal to the stock pad, in terms of performance.
I honestly could not say that they perform any better than stock.
If they could halt the 9000 a few feet shorter from 80 mph, I doubt
if I'd be able to tell without doing actual measurements. Besides,
with ABS I always felt that braking distances was more a function of my tires than the pads.
