Hey everyone

Well, I just put everything back together in my SPG after relocating my battery. This is the 3rd day of the chore. Hour wise... hasn't really taken that long. I just took a lot of breaks, drove around to get the parts I needed and nobody had, had to do some other things in the midst of my project, etc. Either way, everything is back together.

Here is a run down of my wiring setup...
18' of 2 gauge from battery + to starter post
5' of 4 gauge from starter post to distribution block
3' of 2 gauge from battery - to rear center seatbelt bolt
Kept the grounding wire in the engine connected to the frame

I followed Saab Savior's & Jeff Cunningham's instructions on how to relocate the battery to the trunk.

I started it up, and everything was normal. Drove out of my driveway, and down my street very slowly, as the car has been sitting 3 days, I wanted to go very easy. About 1-1/2 miles down the street from my driveway, the road has a long stretch, to a stop sign, were you turno onto a small highway. I gave it a teeeency little bit of juice on the straight away, still keeping in mind to get her going slowly because of the 3 day sitting thing. I only took it up to about 4 PSI. Then let go of the gas, put it in neutral, so I could coast up to the stop sign, where I'd make a right to get on the highway. About 2 seconds after I let off the gas and went into neutral, the RPMs dropped down to about 500, then to 0, and the car stalled out. Odd. I started it back up, everything was OK again. Shake it off, shake it off. Took it out on the highway. Didn't activate the turbo once to get up to 50mph. Minivans passed me! )< Just cruising, slowly. Got off the highway onto a backroad. Punched it to about 10 PSI, then into neutral to see what would happen. Stalled out again. Did this test again. Give it a little bit of juice, up to about 4K RPMs, and let off, then it stalls out.

I checked all my electrical connections, and all is OK. I especially checked the connections on my alternator, OK as well.

What do you think?

Could the wire from the distribution block to the starter be too big, providing too much resistance?
Should I especially check out one specific conenction?

It's driveable, only if I want to keep it under 4K RPMs, and under 3 PSI of boost, which is simply no fun!

Sorry for any typos... I'm pretty sleepy today.
Thanks again!
Taylor
