The 2 DC Saab Clubs (The Washington Area Saab Club [WASSAAB] and the Saab Club National Capital Area [SCNCA]) are co-sponsoring an SCCA Championship Autocross here in Maryland on Sunday, October 20, 2002 at Rosecroft Raceway. It will be $30 to drive, and spaces for the event are limited. This is not a Saab only event, since it is a Championship points race event. Lots of tricked-out Corvettes, Honda S2000s, etc will be on hand for some all day driving fun.

As the event organizer, I can save spots for drivers in advance of the registration (which ALWAYS fills up super fast). They typically offer 130 spots for the day, split between 4 heats for the day. You can pick your heat, BTW.

If you would like to reserve a spot, please let me know ASAP (reply here, or click on my name to e-mail me). We are having our event organizational meeting next week, and I will have to submit a certain number and names at that point to hold spots. I believe I can hold up to 10 spots.

OR: If you just want to come watch, that's cool too! You are also invited to "work" the event, which means you could run the tech inspection, and/or help keep the cones on the course in place while watching the racing from inside the track!
