d overboard with an atmopheric valve is a waste of energy. By recirculating, the pressure/energy is reintroduced on the impeller side and is not totaly lost.
BTW, I have a Forge BPV, available through Stratmosphere.com. Same unit as that used by Abbott for abou $50 less.
Hope that helps.
'88 SPG viggen BPV, Trent RRFPR, FoMoCo 30# injectors, modified APC and solenoid valve 19lbs boost.
'97 900 Talladega, Saab Sport SS exhaust, Forge BPV, Abbott ECU (T5), Abbott lowering springs, Abbott Viggen Rescue Kit, SAS rear swaybar, Viggen Intercooler, Zimmerman crossdrilled rotors, AutoMeter boost/vac gauge mounte on the a-pillar. ~18 to 22 lbs boost, depending on weather, temp, humidity, etc.
'02 9-5 Aero Sport Wagon. Not mods yet. Hirsch perhaps? Nordic?
