I have bought the parts but not yet attempted the install.....but will!
After a bit of research I found the dual pod for a first gen eagle talon/mitsubishi eclipse (90-94) from autometer fits best. The gauges I purchased are autometer competition ultra-lite boost gauge (mech.) and same series air/fuel. Install is fairly straight forward. Lighting of the gauges is done simply by tapping into the wiring to the foglight switch. As for the other connections:
1) boost....splice and connect to your factory indash gauge....using supplied t-junction.
2) run wire from air/fuel to O2 sensor....thru firewall.
** this is after removing the dashtop.
Again I have not yet done the install....this is just info I gathered from both Stephens 9000 website (see link) and searching the bulletin board archives. Lots of info there.
Neat install I was told of was to remove a-pillar cap, remove fabric, fiberglass pod to a-pillar, (therefore no drilling) and get the thing reupholstered. I will likely do this but will paint the pod to match my a-pillar fabric.
So hope this helps.
regards, James
