Done it on 2 of my C900's with big improvements all round. With good shocks and springs there was no increased roll ( no experience with a 9-3). FWD cars are always set up to have slight understeer to make them safe for the average driver - it's a thin line when you try to make it neutral as a bit of wear hear and there in the system might mean it goes to oversteer with disasterous results for the unwary. The other way I do know works is to put a stiffer bar on the back.
