then Kylar Jonsson makes a couple. I've got his 50 mm thick
version - he also makes a 60 mm. The 50 mm fits, but is tight,
in the stock position. There is absolutely no space between the
three exchangers (rad.,ic,condenser) - ie., the radiator touches
the ic, and the ic is touching the condenser. And, being all aluminum,
and twice the stock thickness, it is a bit heavier than the stock unit.
However, although I haven't done any measurements on the KJ,
I'm willing to bet that it flows much better than the stock unit - there
seems to be very little pressure loss. I'm sure that the inlet temp's
are considerably lower as my boost stays quite high - even at
prolonged high speed runs. I have close to 300 hp. w/my 9000 -
Volvo injectors/JT downpipe/Maptun software/K&N cone in the fender.
