If you are concerned with reduced wear, a better engine oil will address many issues, as well as turbo heat concerns. Mobil 10W30 would be an excellent choice. A 0W40 true synthetic might be better. But if I was to use a 0W40, I would want to know that it was group IV or better base stock.
The turbo shaft bearings are not the hot spots of concern in an engine, as the turbine bearing section is water cooled. The top piston rings have been moved up closer to the top of the piston. So a better oil will reduce oil coking at this location*. All oils have been reformulated to address this concern. But to conclude that these oils will have similar results over years of service is silly. Oil specs are made to get better fuel efficiency and to avoid engine breakdown within the warranty period. The oils specified for an engine are not intended to provide the best enine protection.
*this was done to improve combustion and reduce emissions.
