Hello to all of you, members of this great international Saab family.

I want to increase the power of my 1999 9-3 5 spd. From what I'm reading on this BB, there is a lot of ways to do it. Here's what I want to do.

1: K&N air filter and drill a hole of 3'' in the air box to increase air volume (can I place a K&N cone instead for even more air to my turbo?)

2: change the IC for a Viggen IC.

3: Change the ECU for a new one from let say Stormquest, or install a MBC or both???????????

Here's my big question...
ECU will give me maybe 40 HP more but, can the MBC give me even more power or it's only help the turbo to ''engage'' faster?

By the way, I live in Canada, Is there is someone up there that ordered an modified ECU from Stormquest or Abbott or frome somewere else and delivered in Canada without problems?
