I'm not sure if the DSM injectors will work. IF they are standard Bosch style, should be no problem. But with Japanese cars, they sometimes use different injector configurations. Nippondenso comes to mind, I think there are a few other types too. Really though, 24# and 30# injectors are easy to source either new or my favourite place to find used, http://www.stangnet.com
The DI cassette really isn't a DI casette. It's a dead one that I got from my mechanics. I hacked away all the stuff on the bottom and just cut a hole in it for my custom plug wires to pass through. I like the look of the DI cassette, and wanted something to nicer than the old spark plug cover. However, it's not like I still have a distributor on the engine, so it's a bit more direct ignition than others!
SDS' EM3-F system uses wasted spark and they supplied the coils. You can go down one step, keep the distributor and use your own coils with the E system, or D system which only does fuel. So I actually wasn't running DI to begin with, this was a complete swap from LH 2.2 and the distributor ignition system. I believe Kooch has kept his distributor. I have a crank sensor which you can see just at the bottom of the attached picture. You have to look for it, it's just underneath the throttle linkage.
