calipers were used $40, new brembo rotors $60, new PBR pads $30

Awhile back I went through about 1000 rotor specs looking for some w/ a 300-310 diameter that could be redrilled and maybe slightly machined to fit on the c900. I actually found a couple that would possibly work. If one would, it might be possible to have a billet caliper adapter machined so the calipers would accept the rotors. Abbot sells a 305mm rotor/caliper setup that appears to use a brake set that uses the same guides as the regular 89+ 9k's. So there would possibly be pads to fit the setup.

89+ 9k fr rotor specs:
280mm(diam) 68mm(centerbore) 44mm(height) 25mm(thick) 23(min thick)

One of the problems is that most manufacturers thicken the rotor to 28mm (increase of a 1/10") when increasing diameter ~300mm.

The best rotor I found for the project is from a Renault Alpine V6 turbo:
300mm(diam) 61mm(centerbore) 43.5mm(height) 24mm(thick) 22(min thick)

The rotor would need the centerbore machined out 7mm more to really fit the spec sheet. The one problem is that the rotor is a 5 lug, so might have to specially order a predrilled blank rotor if possible.

If there would be a way to fit the 28mm thick rotor comfortably w/o alot of modification, there's an Alfa w/ a 305mm and a Mercedes w/ a 300mm rotor.

at least 16" rims would most definitely be required

Might look at this upgrade as a small step to a further upgrade.
