Just curious. I am going to one of these days, maybe this weekend, start advancing my timing until boost looses stability. So far, 18 psi is good to go on cold mornings (was in the mid 30s today), but I am now running 94 octane. I'm still only running about 16-17 psi boost during normal daytime temps however, 15 psi if I have been sitting in traffic. I'm thinking with these kinds of boost levels, I should be able to turn timing up at least two degrees and get more power. Right now I am at 20/10 degrees idle/max boost.
Only problem is what happens when I don't get 94 octane fuel, out of state or whatever... in these cases I think it would be great to have the 'P' pot wired to a dial on the dash, er, out of passenger reach, that is. :)
So many projects, so little time!
