As soon as I laid eyes on the Italian designed Polk/MOMO subwoofer, it had to be mine. In fact, TWO of them had to be mine. I had two of those 10" beasts back there. For weight reduction, and to fund the costs of some performance goodies I sold my extra Polk/MOMO 10" sub and extra Jensen 500w amp.
The only reason I'm using the Jensen amp is because it had a great warranty, it was sold to me by a local stero shop who gives me great discounts considering the large amounts I've spent there, and yes, it was only $150. $150:500 watts is an unbeatable ratio.
I'm looking for a Coustic amplified (the all yellow ones) to power the Polk/MOMO, but until then, the Jensen will be quietly tucked away so all that is visible is the beautiful sub.
PS-- you should see the back of the sub! Some people mount the sub outside the box just so you can see how beautifully they designed it. It was designed to look like the MOMO quasar wheel I believe.
Happy SAABing
