Any specs on those Merwedes? springs that I can add to my spring page?
On this car 86 900, I went from no bars w/ stock NA springs to G6 bars(7/8" & 1") and springs(intrax 400-420lb/in fr&rr), to G6 springs w/ just rear bar, to 275fr and 375rr springs w/ just rear bar, to same springs w/ OEM front bar w/ rear bar. At this point I just want to find a little stiffer of a front spring and rear spring at the same F&R ratio.
I guess for me it was going from a super stiff suspension w/ no sway to a softer suspension w/ sway. I could definitely tell the difference. On throttle it's no big deal, but it's the comfort level while off throttle on corners that bothers me. On curvy roads while going 35-45 and off throttle, the front end sways around alot. It makes me feel like I always have to throttle the end of the curve, which I don't feel like doing all the time. I like more of the sporty commuter setup, the median between the 3 C's.
Inadditon, I've had an 85 turbo w/ no swaybars, 87 spg w/ spg springs, and drove my girlfriends 91 900S w/ swaybars
